Gwendlyn Brown has opened up about her family’s financial situation in a recent YouTube reaction video. A fan asked if her father Kody Brown had ever made things right financially with his exes Janelle and Meri Brown, to which Gwendlyn responded that her dad and stepmom Robyn have a habit of spending beyond their means. She also stated that Janelle and Meri are not the type to take money from him even though they deserve it. Gwendlyn feels her former stepmothers will be better off financially now that they are no longer tied to him. Last month, she responded to a fan’s question about her dad being a “massive misogynist.”

In a YouTube reaction video, the daughter of Kody Brown expressed relief that her father’s polygamous beliefs were not inherited as it would be undesirable. She believes that Kody’s upbringing made it challenging for him to abandon those ideas, which she does not see as an excuse. According to her, her father’s opinions typically benefit him, so she assumes he chooses to think that way. Kody’s marriages with his first two wives, Meri and Janelle, terminated in December, while Christine left the polygamous marriage in November 2021. Robyn is presently the only wife who remains married to Kody. Meri has been posting positive messages on Instagram, including one attributed to Mel Robbins saying that who she was does not define who she is becoming. Janelle, on the other hand, has been sharing her wellness journey, posting an unedited photo of herself practicing pilates on Instagram. She acknowledged how scary it was to do so and how social media can be harsh, but she also emphasized the power of authenticity and showing small progress towards crafting one’s life.
