A sorrowful mother dog was left on the side of the road in Mladenovac, Serbia with her two puppies, waiting for her owners to return. After a few days of being neglected, a kind-hearted individual contacted a dog rescue shelter for assistance.

The kind-hearted individuals attempted to provide nourishment for the dogs, however, the mother was fiercely defensive of her offspring and prevented anyone from approaching them. Eventually, rescuers arrived and discovered that the mother had concealed herself and her puppies in the nearby grass, guarding them diligently while hoping her owners would retrieve her and her family.

Regrettably, it was unlikely to happen.

Grateful for the rescue team’s arrival, she remained friendly and willing to accept any food they offered. Before leaving, the rescuers double-checked the grassy area to ensure that no more puppies were left behind before loading the mother dog and her two pups into their vehicle.

The discovery of another litter of puppies in the grass near their mother left the rescuers in shock. The newborn pups were too young to even open their eyes yet. Luckily, they were rescued before any harm could come to them and were returned to the shelter.

Moli, the mother dog, has been doing an amazing job taking care of her little pups. She’s overjoyed and grateful to be in good hands with a cozy bed to sleep in instead of being abandoned on the side of the street. The shelter will continue to provide for the tiny family until they’re ready to find their forever homes.
