A lady found a solitary kitten on the pavement when it was only a few days old and brought it to me. The kitten is approximately two weeks old, has a slightly low weight but is otherwise healthy and is gaining weight steadily. As kittens thrive more in the company of a mother cat, I decided to introduce her to Mama Gumbo. As soon as Shrimp met Gumbo, she started nursing immediately! Now that Shrimp has joined Gumbo’s family with her newfound big brothers Filé, Andouille, and Roux, we have named her Shrimp. Welcome to the family!
