The downfall of civilization has long been attributed to technology, but who knew that a simple text chain could potentially bring down the Brown family in Sister Wives? Of course, this is not the Y2K scare all over again, but a high school texting scandal managed to divide the Brown family. It was revealed in a recent TLC episode that the older children of Kody Brown had to air their opinions regarding the issue.
The problem started innocently enough with a kids-only Christmas gift exchange idea among Logan Brown, Leon Brown, Maddie Brown Brush, Aspyn Brown, Mykelti Brown, Paedon Brown, Gwen Brown, Gabe Brown, and some of Robyn Brown’s children. However, the adults, particularly Robyn, got involved and created more problems than solutions. Despite claiming that she only wanted to help, Robyn’s intervention caused more harm than good.
According to a confession by Paedon, Logan, the son of Kody and Janelle Brown, created a group chat for their siblings to plan a gift exchange. However, when the five parents were included in the conversation, things turned messy. Robyn insisted on a video chat to discuss details, causing the conversation to spiral out of control. Christine clarified that the text chain got blown out of proportion, and it seemed like no one wanted to hang out. It’s clear that something deep went down between the entire family, but fans can only speculate. It is never the children’s fault, and the parents should have worked their issues out years ago, especially because Kody seems to have no relationship with his older children from his first three wives.
