Stoyan and Dessy, a lovely animal rescue couple residing in Bulgaria, have taken it upon themselves to find feral cats in their community. Their ultimate goal is to establish a shelter and increase their care program to assist as many wandering cats as possible.

The couple behind the cat rescue initiative funds everything for the felines themselves, often with support from their followers on social media. Recently, they stumbled upon a weary old stray cat that looked malnourished and exhausted. Despite the cat’s initial disinterest in human interaction, they persevered and managed to provide it with food and shelter by setting up a crate with a cozy blanket inside.

When they paid him a visit again, they were surprised to see that his ‘container house’ had been stolen. This incident prompted them to take action and bring him to the nearby veterinarian clinic.

The scorching temperature had a soothing effect on him, and it appeared that he had never experienced such heat before. Therefore, they provided him with some veterinarian-prescribed food with antibiotics to alleviate his condition.

Thanks to generous contributions from concerned individuals, a special area has been set up for the elderly feline, aptly named the “Happy Cat Room.” The cat can now spend time there, enjoying the company of humans and getting acclimated to his new surroundings. Upon arrival, he wasted no time in locating the plush bed and settling down for a nap.
