However, what the sweet dog named Athena needed the most was love. It was discovered that Athena had lost sight in one of her eyes.

Laura was worried that it would be challenging to find a new home for her dog. Many families refuse to adopt older puppies, but Laura was determined to provide Athena with the care and love she deserves. After making her story known, they found a perfect family for her within a few weeks.
