Mateo Messi Impresses with Soccer Skills and Cuteness on Display

Lionel Messi’s son, Mateo, is clearly taking after his father in the football skills department. The four-year-old recently showcased his impressive talents in the backyard, proving that he’s a chip off the old block.

It appears that Messi’s four-year-old son Mateo is just as skilled when it comes to scoring goals. In a recent video, Mateo can be seen kicking the ball into the top corner from afar before making a quick run and scoring with precision. The video seems to be filmed in Messi’s backyard in Spain, where there is a small football pitch. Mateo seems to have picked up some moves from his dad, as he celebrates his goal just like Messi does.

Messi Jr shows off his celebratory moves after scoring a goal by kissing both hands and raising them up in the air. Mateo then heads straight towards the camera and puts his finger to his lips, motioning for silence. His second goal is reminiscent of his father’s style, as he skillfully dribbles from the halfway line and slots the ball neatly into the corner, followed by a dramatic fall to the ground holding his face as if he’s been fouled. Despite his similarities to his dad, keen observers will notice that Mateo is mainly right-footed, distinguishing him as his own unique player.

Mateo playfully put his finger to his lips, just like his father, drawing inspiration from another world-renowned talent, Cristiano Ronaldo. In a surprising turn of events, Messi’s longtime rival proposed the idea of them having dinner together, to which the Argentine responded positively. Messi shared with Sport, “I’m open to it, I have no issue with that.”

.

I’ve always mentioned that I don’t have any problems with him. While we may not be close friends since we’ve never worked together, I do see him at award shows and everything is fine.
I’m not sure if we’ll ever have a chance to have dinner together due to our busy lives and commitments, but if the opportunity arises, I would definitely accept the invitation.

Perhaps Mateo and Ronaldo’s son, Cristiano Jr., could join them for a casual two-on-two match in the backyard to end the evening’s fun.
