Despite the challenges he faced, Augustus remained enthusiastic about life after going through a lot of difficulties to take care of a small kitten that was only three months old.
Despite his young age, Augustus has had to endure a great deal of trauma. After being hit by a car in Norfolk, England, he underwent a leg amputation. However, Augustus is not letting this tragedy dampen his spirits. He exhibits incredible willpower and determination, as well as a happy and lively demeanor. This heartwarming story was reported by Eastern Daily Press.
The three-month-old cat suffered severe injuries including a fractured jaw, broken tail, and a damaged front leg. A surgery was performed to repair his jaw and remove part of his tail in addition to the amputation of the dysfunctional leg. Despite these traumatic experiences, the cat, now named Cat King Cole, adapted well to his new life on three legs and showed a great joy for living just ten days after the operation. The shelter where he was staying, Cats Protection Down Market, even shared a video of him playing happily. Fortunately, after two months, he was adopted by a loving family along with his feline sister Trinity. His new owners shared updates and photos, reporting that he had a great personality, talked to them all the time, and was in good health at three kilograms. They also expressed their belief that he would grow up to be a big and solid boy.
